People ask us all the time things like "How do we get to set up at that market?" Or "Do you know how we can be vendors at this event?" (Like all the time, that’s why we’re writing this blog today- so we can direct people here instead of having to type out the same message over and over.) While we absolutely love that people see the things we do and want to find out how they can get involved, we don’t always have a good answer. Everything is always trial and error and what works for us might not work for you. Sometimes things just fall into our lap like it was fate and sometimes we work extremely hard to stand out to get involved.

So where should you start?

During the winter months your plants will go through changes, just like the weather outside, and they’ll have to adapt to keep thriving. There will be less sunlight and colder temperatures so the growing conditions in your house will change and you’ll have to help your plants adjust accordingly.

This year we set some realistic goals for ourselves and our business. Some of these goals were easily attainable and others we knew we would have to work for. Without struggle, there can’t be progress they say and well, whoever “they” is, they were right.

Last Saturday was the final weekend of the 2022 Springfield Farmers Market and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t already miss it. For 15 weeks, each Saturday morning, we set up all of our goods alongside so many wonderful vendors and it began to feel routine. We made new friends and got to chat with old. We had a great time this summer and while it’ll be weird to not have to wake up super early in the morning to get the kids ready to go, it’ll be nice to sleep in.

We realized we've never shared any best-sellers with you since we started our blog 20 months ago. We've done it on social media a few times, but we thought it would be fun to share it as a blog!

This month, we've been set up at the Springfield Farmers Market every Saturday, as we have for much of the summer. It's fascinating to see different purchase combinations and which products are popular each day. It always changes and surprises us to see which ones are doing well and which ones have done better in the past.

We haven’t been posting too much on social media lately because well, it’s summer and that means the kids are home from school and running a business always comes second to our children. This blog is going to be a long personal life and business life update so we can fill you in!
